I haven’t ridden a dressage test in ages. Years, literally. I am finding it much harder than I remember to memorise the test. I had it this morning, and then when I went to ride it this morning in preparation for tomorrow, I kept coming to an end of a certain movement and going blank. She was extremely whizzy today, and wanted to turn into Secretariat in every canter on a long side – should be interesting. ;)
The worst part was trying show breeches on this morning in front of the full-length mirror. Oh, the horror! Thank the gods for long dressage coats.
Friday was interesting, as three of us were occupied with documenting timelines and how all projects have been pushed back because of the US problems. Good – I’m glad that he is taking this seriously and going to bat for us.
The weather is really crap today – I hope I don’t have to ride in the pouring rain. :( Well, off we go to pick up our new (old) trailer.

Puuuh-leeeze!!! *snort* You and your distorted self-view! I would love to see your bum in some tight breeches. WOO! :) Do we get some pics of you in your gear (and then one with you one Lizzy)???? :) :) :) :) Please?!
lol…dressage gear is rather like really high-class dom gear: Tight, white breeches, tall shiny black boots, white stock with gold pin, fitted black coat, white gloves, spurs and whip. :)
Phil always complains that the people that you actually see at shows look nothing like the prepubescent stick insects that you see modelling jodpurs in the catalogues. *snicker* Not only is he bored, there’s nothing to ogle.
