*weekend happy dance*

Aside from a headache that I can’t lose, this has been a good weekend so far. (I get these headaches which settle firmly in place for four-five days, which really weaken my will to live at times).

The girl is going to take Kip, as her grandfather is paying for him. I spent at long time talking to him on the telephone – wonderful character. :) He’s sending me a business cheque, and as soon as that clears they’ll come and get him. I’m terrified that he’s going to injure himself in the interim – that ALWAYS happens.

Lizzie was better today than she was yesterday, when all she wanted to do was stick her head up in the air and try to run away with me. She may be this well-trained horse and all, but she’s frickin’ difficult at times – definitely not pushbutton. Once I get her listening to me, she’s lovely. When she’s tense and inattentive, she’s a pain in the ass.

I’m going to have a stall plate made with her name on it, and in small letters underneath it will say “When she was good, she was very very good, but when she was bad she was horrid.” :)

:: reads a second time carefully to check you weren’t making it for me ;-P ::

Oh lovely!!! love to that grandfather too :D

(and such a nameplate would elicit a laugh every time I saw it! teehee)

  3. Yes, I need to do it. She can be an angel, but then she does things like she did today, which was whip around and take a big chunk out of my arm. She’s such a princess.

  4. That’s great news on Kip, though I will miss his updates and photos, I’ve grown quite fond of the big horse.

  5. I know – I will miss him, too. He’s such a wonderful character, and this was a very hard decision to make. I feel better knowing that the new girl will give him an excellent home, and I feel that Kip really liked her…but I’m going to miss him so much.
