From Phil, an account of getting information for an ad from a client:

So – I’m on the phone to a furniture place…

“can you tell me a little about what you do?”

“we sell beds and 3 piece suites.”

“is there anything else that you’d like to say in the ad?”

“…that’s about it really…”

“Are you bigger, better, cheaper than your competitors?”

“…I don’t know…probably…”

“Do you have a big showroom?”

“…it’s pretty big I suppose…”

it’s like pulling teeth getting info out of people – and they’re PAYING for this to go on air!
