Even though it’s unfortunately not yet Friday, I’ve had a fairly productive and non-boring day working on CSS skins for the journal area on the site. I have six different themes, not quite up to Zen Garden standards, of course, but simple enough to work here without too much of a headache.
I’m taking some vacation time next week. I need to get the CV in order, so I can start applying for a new job. It would be very nice to add another £10k to my salary. ;) Although I’d probably work for free if I could be assured of having challenge and job satistaction.
I thought of another fictional character I would like to be: Diana Tregarde from Mercedes Lackey’s series. Psychic investigator, witch, guardian, total ass-kicking babe with a sexy vampire for a boyfriend. That would work. :) I was sorry when she stopped writing those books; I understand that there were a lot of scary people that came out of the woodwork as a result of them, but still I miss them. She was a great character.
Hmm…I did contemplate Holmes as a character, but he was so troubled by his inner demons that it wouldn’t be a very pleasant experience…
It’s tough though, most of the characters from literature are just ‘too’ perfect…too annoyingly ‘marvelous’…
I’ll stick with Angelina Jolies masseuse…
I told you, that’s MY damn job. *hard paddington stare*
I’ve seen your Paddington Stares…
I’d win.
: )
