Not really, but close enough in effect. The power went out this morning, and wasn’t expected to be back on before 1:00 or so, so we all pissed off. :) It’s worth a half-day of holiday, since I have several left.
Phil: Music is on, the house is warm, I was eating lunch by the fire and reading, and it’s soooo nice. *neener, neener, NEENER*
Tomorrow I’ll be out most of the day, watching user sessions scheduled by the company that’s auditing the site. Should be entertaining.
We still don’t have the Christmas tree up. I was half-considering not doing it at all this year, and just decorating the fireplace instead. Hmmmnn…is it laziness or just lack of seasonal spirit? Probably both.
I’ve been thinking about Xmas today. We need the tree up…otherwise we’re going to be miserable Scrooges all over Xmas…
Tonight.
: )

You guys could come visit friends between Christmas and New Years if you wanted. ;) We’ll be back from the in-laws on the 27th.
We’ve got an inflatable double mattress for if you wanted to get ‘merry’ and stay over. :)

J & I were seriously considering cancelling xmas – just too much stress & crap this year. But we have a chitlin… so, instead we decided that a Nightmare Before Christmas theme would be the ticket.
We’re still decorating… however, our decorations truly give away our feelings about the holiday season – rubber rats, bats, spiders & snakes, misc. doll parts & smashed toy cars.
I’m still trying to figure out how to construct a Jack Skellington head for our Halloween skeleton, though. His santa suit is half done, but the head is just all wrong.
