When you have a site that (for the most part) is finally working, meaning that customers can actually find the product they’re looking for and successfully buy it without their shopping cart blowing up in their faces, sending their session to the outer reaches, don’t rock the virtual cart. Be happy that the gods of e-commerce are currently not pissed off at you, and keep your head low.
Under no circumstances should you say “let’s put flash on the homepage!”
Ugly words like loadVars will pop up to plague you. Evil things like URL escaping and unescaping. And you will slowly go insane.

I hate flash, I hate things that require javascript more though if that is any consolation.
amen.
