Meme, stolen from simply everyone

This is the problem with LJ, we all think we are so close, and we know nothing about each other. I’m going to rectify it. I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me, something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.

Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don’t know about you.

  1. What made you move to England? It’s the most obvious thing, and I’m sure I should know the answer but I don’t.

  2. Do you speak any additional languages? Not sure why, but for some reason I expect you to know French. *giggle*

Oh! And WHEN, young lady, will I ever see you again?! *pouts and stuff* Do I smell? *sniffsniff* I promise I won’t make you guys drive around aimlessly again, ever!!! *grins*

  4. You know, even for us this presents an interesting challenge ;). I need to think more on it though, before I post.

  6. Some Spanish. Six years in Jr. high and highschool, so I should have retained more than I did. I can still translate filthy language in movies for Phil. :)

You smell nice, actually. :) We do have to get together soon!

  8. Monica. Original last name is something Irish. Middle name is my grandmother’s. Phil calls me Numpkin, which is a combination of numpy and munchkin – not very flattering. ;)

  9. I’ve always wanted to try living abroad. I suppose the real reason that I was able to move here is that the immigration department in the States made it impossible for Phil to continue living there, and I wanted to be here, anyway, so it was an easy decision. But mostly, I suppose, because when I first came here on a visit I felt that I had come home. Despite the fact that my ancestry would be more Irish than English, I still felt that I had come home. And I still feel the wonder of being here…that sense of joy when I say to myself “I’m here! I’m really here!”

  11. I think erotica and fetish are what keep sex interesting. Sex should never be boring, and frequently is…it’s fantasy and play, dominance and submission that keep it fun. Sex should be like Disneyland…there’s a ride for everyone. ;) I suppose that they also mean to me, personally, that many things can be sexual – food can be sexual; fabric, leather and fur are definitely sexual/sensual – I could spend ages running my hands over silk and satin; getting my hair cut or getting a massage provokes a sexual response.

Contrasts are erotic. I love masculine/pretty men – men who have masculine traits such as muscular bodies, but also have feminine traits such as huge eyes with long eyelashes, pouty mouths. I love the way a masculine man looks when he’s wearing silk lingerie for the first time. I love very feminine women in designer suits, or soft women in leather domme gear. I never respond to macho men or butch women…I find softness sexy.

To me, erotic is a very feline trait. It’s coyness and softness with claws, wantoness and resistance all together.

  13. I’m sure there’s something. Still trying to think of it though.

    Miss you, babe.
