Gorgeous. I am curious about your techniques. Are you open to discussing them? Some artists aren’t and I respect that. But I always find myself asking, “How’d she do that?”
Thanks. :) I usually find the main stock image that I want to use, usually the model. It’s separated from the background, and then texture elements are layered under and over it, with varying effects and filters and opacity. The last stage is painted with my Wacom tablet, to add detail, hard lines, and so on. If you click through to the larger size, you can see all of the stock that I used on this one. I have tons of bits and pieces that I can use, some that I photograph, and some nicked from the web – leaves and shells, feathers, and so on.
