Lizzie’s leg might be getting a fraction better; I think the aloe gel is helping it heal. I am still keeping it wrapped against flies and dirt. I turned her out for a bit yesterday in the mares pasture. There was minimal squealage (she isn’t interested in interacting with any of the horses, and will squeak and strike if they bother her) and lots of galloping. She decided to explore, and went racing like a mad thing to the far end of the pasture. A few minutes later she returned, and then went down the other side to see what there was in the bottom pasture. Looked around for a bit, and then came back. After that she seemed sore (hopefully just due to concussion on the rock-hard ground, and not further damage to the tendon), so I hosed her legs and put her away. I’ll try it again tonight.
