I am working my way through 10,000 plus images, redoing, resizing, compressing and cleaning up all of the product shots for the web. (I’m getting rid of the 285k product images that were on the old site!!!) God, this is mind-numbing. Add to this a lady who does customer service who has the most piercing voice, and you have a very stressful day. I used to sit right next to her, which was impossible; I’ve now moved all the way across an enormous room and the sound of her voice still echoes, like an earwig which crawls into your brain and makes you crazy. I need my CD drive for image CDs and can’t use it for my music CDs, so I can’t shut her out.
Lalalalala….
It’s very grey today. I’m only working until about 3:30, and then I’m going out to the stable to meet the vet, who is going to look at Kip, who has been very ouchy on his front feet. With a young and lazy horse, it’s difficult to tell if they’re a bit sore or if it’s just reluctance due to laziness. His front hooves have visible ripples on the surface, and I just want to make sure that he hasn’t had an episode of laminitis in the past. Especially with the rich spring grass coming in.
Not much else happening. I suppose I’m in waiting mode for the weekend, waiting mode for spring, waiting for the site to go live…just waiting.

Ouch!
That’s a hell of a LOT of images. Good luck.
BTW, is your siren voice named Sue? Cuz maybe the screechowl here has a doppelganger working in your office. One day, I may put a clip of her talking online. People won’t believe it!
I hope you’re waiting doesn’t seem long. :) And that Kip’s just being lazy.
Or Ellen, maybe? There may be a wall between us but the doorway is open and can’t hear customers on the phone when she’s in there wailing like an air raid siren.
We feel your pain.
lol….I suppose there’s one in every office. Either loud, or just with an unfortunate voice. :)
