King of Rats by Gregory Carrico

All that stands between him and a lifetime of food is a Queen, his sister, and a surface world overrun by vampires. Will the King of Alley Rats risk everything for his throne and his pack, or leave it all behind for a pretty mouse in distress?

I can’t tell you how happy I am to share in the cover release/launch of Gregory Carrico‘s King of Rats. I love this cover so much (a chance to do Halloween stuff warms my little goth heart). Check it out here.

  1. This is a special story for me. I really got to indulge my dark side with Giles. Every single character in this story could be a villain in another book, but Giles takes the cake. His brand of evil is so engrained, so carefree, it’s hard not to like him, or at least root for him a little.

It’s a special story, too, because I wrote it for an anthology (Tales from the Mist) with a group of writers who became very good friends through the process. Our core group is still in regular contact, many of us daily, and we just began a new venture together earlier this week. To have such a perfect cover for King of Rats is just the cherry on top.

Wow, I just realized my analogies are all deserts. I better go eat something. ;-).
I can’t think you enough for your amazing work on this cover. But I’ll keep trying. :)
    Thanks!
    Greg
