I had to listen to this today, as I was terrified that I would hear it for the first time this year in a shop. I love this song so much, always have. In part I love it because (for me at least) it is Christmas for the rest of us: the black sheep, the people without perfect lives and perfect families, the broken people who still believe. As the black sheep in my family, I can certainly relate to that aspect.
