Hey, you don’t need me to tell you that dark days are ahead for the US…

…all you need to do is read the news.

“It might, however, have been part of another discussion. On Oct. 3, the day the Miers nomination was announced, Mr. Dobson and other religious conservatives held a conference call to discuss the nomination. One of the people on the call took extensive notes, which I have obtained. According to the notes, two of Ms. Miers’s close friends–both sitting judges–said during the call that she would vote to overturn Roe.”

So back-alley abortions only happen to other people’s daughters, do they? :(

Things are not good here. Too much work even if you doubled our team, and not enough time in which to do it.

No, it’s all good. The Lord in all his mighty wisdom will smite the sinners from America, leaving it spotless and virginal, as the Garden of Eden once was…

Cast OUT these demons, these harlets… let them be married as soon as they reach their puberty, lest their maidenhood go to anyone but their husband… to bear God-fearing children to spread the Lords word.

Cast OUT those that wish to practice the abomination that is homosexuality – casting them forth into the fiery pits of hell to be sodomised by Satan and his minions for all eternity…

Cast OUT those that speak against the Lord, and his Prophet – to be known from this day forth as George the Righteous. Let him act as the hand that carries the Lord’s mighty hammer, smiting the evil un-believers throughout the world…

Perseus is right, this “bodes” very bad… However, even if they do try to overturn Roe vs. Wade (and I don’t really think they’d succeed), there are ALWAYS ways to get rid of an unwanted pregnancy. Many of them are just a lot more dangerous or even deadly to the female. But I know people who have told me about certain herbs that will supposedly take care of it….. I’m just glad I’ve never had to worry about it. I’m a firm believer in prevention!

  3. Change those fiery pits to hot tubs and we’ll be seeing a line at the door.

  4. You need to use a lot more caps and miss-spelled words if you’re going to parody that type of thing.

  5. To me, Roe vs. Wade is such a fundamental thing. Take away easy access to birth control (other than abstinence), take away legal abortion, and what do you have? Unwanted pregnancies and backalley abortions. You do not have control over your life if you don’t have control over your own body.

  6. You said it yourself – abstinence, it’s what the whole Bush-esque crowd want – they’ve been banging on (!) about it for ages…

Sex before marriage is bad, and we’re going to scare the crap out of you by abolishing abortions so you don’t risk it!

Then once you do get married wifey needs to start popping sprogs out as soon as possible to fit the mould of perfect housewife and mother…
