It’s been a long time since I’ve had the time or energy to post anything. Top Sekret Project is ready to launch, but has hit a holiday snag. Since part of what we’re doing as a social networking site is age-verifying kids via the schools (there are no “official” age verification programmes, and we don’t have access to Social Security or National Insurance number verification, you can’t allow parents to verify kids, etc., etc.), we’re dependent on getting schools signed up right now. And they’ve broken for the holidays. The timing is very bad for us, and we’ve run out of cash, basically.
This week I had to bring everyone together and tell them that there was a very good chance that they would only get a portion of their Christmas paycheques. It was the hardest thing that I have ever had to do, and I cried in the car on the way home and then got very drunk. Not pleasant at all.
I made the decision to leave my guild, given the work pressures that make it difficult to raid, as well as the ongoing connection problems that periodically make it impossible to connect to my mains. I don’t want to slip from Raider status to Member or Trial (which would mean that on the runs I could make, I couldn’t need on anything), so I will just quite for now. It will allow me to spend extra time on Kit, who is the main character that I spend time on anyway – I only raid on Ravven, never anything for fun.
My belf hunter is 30, my nelf druid is close to that, and I haven’t spent any time on my mage, who is mid-forties. I’d like to get them all close to level cap by the next expansion if possible.
We signed up for Pirates of the Burning Sea, and I look forward to playing that. I haven’t played much Tabula Rasa, although I still have an account. I’ve just felt a bit meh about everything. I still love WoW, but wouldn’t mind something new.
Anyway…happy holidays to all.
PS:
Nice fantasy & sci fi site: Twisted Kingdom.
Why Americans asked “How Are You?” just can’t answer “Ah, life is hell at the moment”?
Take it slow now fox-girl, try to find guild built on loyalty, not on raid efficiency. But most of all, just enjoy whatever good Your life brings. Its season to be jolly after all!
