I’ve very much been enjoying the visit with my family. There was one very enthusiastic pro-Bush discussion that I stayed well out of, although my brother-in-law gave me a tiny smile across the table to let me know that he knew what was going through my mind. ;) Morgaine just left yesterday to go back home with her boyfriend, as they are buying a house (!!!?!). He is wonderful and I am very happy that they are together. Shopping yesterday in Medford was exhausting, as one of my sisters and her daughter are marathon shoppers. My father was angry that we had all allowed them to tire my mother so badly, and he made my youngest sister cry. My mother is holding her own, although she does tire very easily and speech becomes almost impossible at times. But it has been a wonderful visit, and I have treasured this time with my family. Sorry, Phil, I know that you’ve seen the money going from the bank account…don’t worry, I think I’m done. ;) Very hot and sunny here, btw – I’ve read how cold and grey it is back home. I feel as though I’m storing up warmth in my bones to see me through at least a few weeks of greyness once I get back.
