Kil’jaeden is down.
This is the first time that I have had the chance to down the final endgame boss before the next expansion replaces everything with new challenges, and it feels very good. It was hard, very hard – granted, all bosses have been nerfed, but it is still a very intense encounter.
Oh, and the bow didn’t drop. :/
There was a very long scripted sequence after the kill, of which I could hear none of due to the screams and celebration over TeamSpeak. We announced it in General chat, to a ringing silence. Whatever, dudes.
If we weren’t facing WotLK very soon, there would be a big empty feeling, knowing that we only had the same content to grind over and over again. I don’t think I would want to be one of those world-first guilds (yeah, ok, I don’t have the skillz or the lifestyle to be in one, but whatever). When you rush through content to be first, you’re left with grinding the same content afterwards.
This was perfect.
