Hahahahaha…I just ordered “Nielsen Norman Group Report Series: E-commerce User Experience” via Jakob Nielsen’s site. On one of his whitepapers, he states: “Here instead are the minimum requirements for ensuring that international users can use your site. Just remember: To fully maximize your business potential in other countries, you should do much more…extended character sets are required for the street address. You also need to accommodate house numbers that follow street names and ZIP codes of various lengths that precede city names. In fact, it’s better to refer to “postal code/ZIP code” instead of just ZIP code, which is a U.S.-only term.”
They totally disregard this on their checkout form. That made my morning. :)
Have I ever told you how annoying I find usability “experts”?
Oh, wait, we’ve had this conversation before ;)
lol…yes, you’re right!
*LAUGH*
classic….
(is there anywhere to submit feedback to them? *evil smile*)
